Laguna de los Tres (March 2024)

Every sunrise was magical here.
My friend Deep had been there just a week before, so he recommended this sandwich place called Simple, and we loved it so much we ended up coming here 3 days in a row! We would get a sandwich early in the morning and go for our hike. The bread was SO soft and every flavor I got was AMAZING. They had ham, chicken, tuna, etc. I got to try a bunch during this trip!
Trailhead

All the hikes were easily accessible from town, and we just walked to the trailhead from our hotel! The trail we did this time was Laguna de los Tres, which I loved because of the turquoise glacier water. It ended up being one of my favorite hikes ever.

I love the feeling of being so small in this big world.
Sandwich from Simple, so good and simple! The bread really made it!

Reached the top and it got so windy and foggy, and it rained for about 10 minutes and stopped.

It was really cold at the top!

We went a little further and got to see 2 lakes side by side. This was also recommended by my friend Deep. A lot of people stopped and turned back before they got to this view, which is a shame because I loved how the lakes were 2 different shades!

It was March, so it was the beginning of fall for them.

The water was so clear!

I loved this hike!

Dinner at Mathilda. I liked that every restaurant here was so casual and you can just walk in, and it wasn’t busy at all! The food here was unexpectedly good.
