In the morning, I woke up early and walked around the area near our hotel by myself. Orchha was such a serene town, I felt safe there. Some locals were really friendly and came up to me to chat, and that is one of my favorite things about traveling – to get to know how people live and how they perceive the world around them.
I love love love love love cows.
I strolled to the river we were at last night for sunset, and the morning vibes were different, yet still peaceful! Wrote in my Louise Carmen journal.
After my morning stroll, I met up with some of the group who signed up for the cooking class and went to the teacher’s own home! We met her family!
One of the most fascinating things about a country – their cuisine, their spices!
In the evening, we celebrated Diwali (the Festival of Lights!) at the hotel courtyard by lighting candles & sparklers and eating these delicious snacks.
It was such a memorable experience!
