We took the train from Agra to Orchha, a small rural town in Madhya Pradesh, India. The train experience was pretty cool! The train platform was actually so clean, and I was so glad G Adventures took care of all the logistics so that we just had to follow our guide Abhi. I absolutely adored watching all the other trains pass by while we waited for ours.
Just look at the colors! The old style trains are so charming.
The ride included some snacks, I liked the aloo a lot! The other snacks were kind of dry.
Even train chai was good!
After we arrived to Orchha, we went out for lunch. I loved seeing cows walk around the streets and co-existing with human beings.
We went to the Orchha Fort Complex, which included lots of ancient monuments consisting of the fort, palaces, temple, and other edifices. The architecture was so beautiful!
Look at all the details!
Cows are sacred in Hinduism, so they’re free to walk around anywhere. I love that they just sat on the roads while people drove and cycled past them, being careful not to disturb them. What a sight!
We witnessed yet another beautiful sunset in India. The river was so peaceful.
