On my birthday, I took a half-day Viator tour to the town of Giverny to see Monet’s Garden. You can easily go there on your own, but I really appreciated having a guide to tell me stories and make art come to life.
The day started off a little rainy, but it made for a more romantic feel!
I could only imagine living in such a beautiful house with all the flowers surrounding it.
After the half day tour, I got back to Paris and walked around, stumbled into Petit Palais, which was free admission and no lines!
I just looooved the outdoor garden area, where you can sit and enjoy life for the moment.
For my birthday dinner, I chose L’Oiseau Blanc, which was on the rooftop of the Peninsula Hotel & had a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower. I saw it sparkle during my 2 hour dinner.
The restaurant was aviation-themed, which I adore.
I saw the Eiffel Tower light up from my seat at the restaurant, and when I came out, it was still sparkling. And I felt so grateful and joyful for my life.
