We took a bus from El Calafate to El Chalten, the hiking capital of Argentina Patagonia, where we would base from. A lot of the treks begin from town, so it was very convenient to stay there. It turns out our hotel also had a rental store in the front, so we rented trekking poles from there as well (A MUST!).
$35 Tasting menu at The Asadores. It was so good and they even had live Argentinean folk music! Highly recommend.
The next day we would begin our hikes!
