We got to Angkor Wat at 5:30AM.
It’s one of those “must-do” things in Cambodia, so expect a lotttttt of tourists. I do love a good sunrise so I’d say it’s worth going!
We explored inside the temple. Originally built as a Hindu temple, it later converted to a Buddhist temple, so there’s a mix of both religions in there – very fascinating.
We went to one of the most popular temples in the Angkor Wat Complex: Ta Prohm, where Tomb Raider was filmed. I thought this was really cool to see because of the tree growing out of the temple!
