Cambodia: Floating Villages

Took a tour of the Floating Villages of Kompong Khleang.

It was amazing to see how the largest floating community of Cambodia settled on the great lake of Tonle Sap. The houses were built on stilts and boats are the main mode of transportation.

Children here are taught to swim at young ages of 3.

A primary school on water!

It was amazing to see how people lived with such simplicity. They don’t have much, but they make do with what they have. The kids were all swimming and playing, just out in nature, not on phones or electronic devices.

We finally arrived at Siem Reap, the second-largest city of Cambodia.

We had dinner at Damnak Mahob Khmer Restaurant

Passionfruit milk tea
Another amok fish! So fragrant!!
