Ho Chi Minh City: Part 2 (Nov 2023)

I walked over to the Saigon Central Post Office, which became one of my favorite buildings ever.

The details!!!
There were many photoshoots here and I can see why
Architectural gem

After strolling by myself for the afternoon, I met up with my G-Adventures group to go to a rooftop bar called Chill Skybar.

Of course I had to have the corn cocktail.

Dinner at Den Long — SOOOO GOOD.

Oysters

The next day, we went on another tour.

Fruits
These ladies performed some singing and dancing

Even though this was a touristy thing to do, I loved being in the water surrounded by trees. It was quite an amazing feeling.

Bees!
Where there are bees, there’s honey
Opening up coconuts for us to drink
Snake wine
Elephant ear fish

After the group tour, I had free time again, so I looked for another homey pho place to end my night.

Pho Dac Biet at Pho Viet Nam

Found a little cafe in a shopping mall where I sat and watched the sunset with some pretty desserts.

In the morning, I woke up early to walk around.

The local park was full of people doing meditation, tai chi, yoga, badminton, exercising and playing. I loved seeing that!

My last coconut coffee in Vietnam from Cong Caphe.

I loved Vietnam, from North to South. All the food and coffee were so memorable! It was an amazing experience learning about the history and the resilience of the people. Would love to come back and explore all the little cities in between.
