After Death Valley, Kings Canyon, Sequoia, and Yosemite National Parks, we were ready to relax at Napa Valley. We first explored the Napa downtown area.
At the Oxbow Public Market, there were a bunch of restaurants and shops. We got oysters & seafood at Hog Island.
Walked around Rail Arts District.
The next day, we got Model Bakery.
This breakfast sandwich was SO good. With their famous English muffin and fluffiest egg ever.
Must get their legendary English muffins.
Then we had our 12pm reservation at Piazza Del Dotto for our first Napa winery visit.
They gave us a welcome drink to start.
Took a tour inside their cave for barrel tasting.
At the conclusion of the tour, they led us to a table out in the terrace and served us food and more wine.
Next winery: Far Niente.
Their grounds were beautiful. Napa dreams come true!
I loved the wines here. Their “Dolce” was my favorite.
Ad Hoc for dinner. Because I still couldn’t get a reservation to The French Laundry after all these years…
Ended up going to Bouchon Bakery twice. Pretty solid.
Next up, San Francisco.
