London: Part 3 (June 2023)

Went to the Sky Garden early morning before it opened to the public for rooftop yoga. I loved the view and the serene vibes. It is London’s highest rooftop garden and has a view of the city.

It’s like an urban oasis.

The yoga session was led by Tuesday Wilde, who was delightful and really made my trip memorable.

Went to Windmill for shepherd’s pie! I really love meat and potatoes in pie form.

After that, I strolled around the Portobello Road Market and Notting Hill neighborhood.

Such colorful houses.

My 2nd afternoon tea was at the Lanesborough.

London

It was beautiful inside!

They had a special theme at the time because Bridgerton had just come out with the season with Queen Charlotte.

I love clotted cream.

Everything is refillable here too.

Tea cured salmon, lemon & caper cream – THIS was SO good!!

The chicken was even better

The deviled egg one was my favorite.

Every sandwich was delicious in their own way. They were so much better than any of the ones I’ve had in NYC. I’d put the Lanesborough over Fortnum & Mason. Would love to go back to London to experience the many other afternoon tea places!

I was pretty lucky during this trip in June because it only rained for 2 hours while I was there.

London

I went back to the hotel to dry off, shower and nap before I went back out to meet my friend Deep, who I met during my G Adventures trip to Morocco.

London’s Indian food scene is incredible. It is by no means authentic in any way at all, of course, there is a westernized twist to it.

At the end of the trip, I finally got my touristy photo with the iconic telephone booths.

Until next time, London.
