I’ve been on so many free walking tours and I love them! The tour guides make money off tips so they work really hard to make sure you’re having fun. I love walking around and learning about what I’m looking at. This one started in Covent Garden — I had time to kill so I walked around by myself early morning.
Our tour guide was hilarious and I learned so much about the history of the kings and queens. I even made a friend on the tour who I met up with later on!
We ended around Westminster Abbey and I continued walking around the sites.
Walked over to Borough Market for a snacky snack.
It was so crowded at this time of day on a Saturday.
Got the Moo & Blue which was beef and blue cheese… definitely an acquired taste.
I liked that these vendors accepted ApplePay and credit cards, everything is contactless these days!
Decided to visit the Tate Modern for a bit.
The exhibits were interesting and I could’ve probably spent more time here, but was getting physically tired walking around.
Went to the Twinings Flagship store to get some souvenirs for my mom because she loves tea.
Remember the friend I made earlier during the walking tour? She showed me this cool cocktail lounge that looked like somebody’s apartment. The Zetter Marylebone.
I loooooved my pandan cocktail. They had really eclectic flavors and decor.
After drinks, I went to a neighborhood called Shoreditch that had a lot of wall art around and lots of bars. But I was there for one reason: The Clove Club, which was one of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants at the time.
I opted for the “Mixed Pairing”, which featured alternating wine and tea!
At this point I was beyond stuffed. I couldn’t finish the desserts! I loved every dish but I probably could’ve done without the wine & tea pairing. One of the best meals of my life.

Ooh now I wonder moo is without blue.
I thought that white towel was the cracker LOL.
