White Pocket, Arizona (Sept 2018)

I’ve always wanted to go to the Wave but could never get through the lottery for the permit. White Pocket does not need a permit and was beyond anything I could even imagine. I spent the whole day there just wandering and taking pictures, marveling at the rock formations. It was like I was on another planet! I decided it needed its own dedicated post, even though I came here on the same trip as Havasupai, Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. It’s one of my favorite places on Earth. I used Grand Staircase Discovery Tours, who provided us with a guide that drove the rocky roads for 2 hours to reach this wondrous place.

We stayed here a little after the sunset through Blue Hour, and the guide drove us back in the dark.
